After graduating from Niagara College with a degree in International Business, I started working at my parents' business, Mother-ease Cloth Diapers. My parents started their business 30 years ago manufacturing quality cloth diapers right here in St. Catharines. Working there for 15 years (with the last 5 being the General Manager) I have become very knowlegeable about fabrics and manufacturing.
Being a male in the cloth diaper industry, I've always felt out of place. So I wanted to start something of my very own. When my parents invested in dye sublimation equipment for their business, I was immediately intrigued by the endless opportunities that came with it.
It was then that I decided I wanted to start my own athletic wear company. I have had an interest in manufacturing clothing for years and here was my shot.
Having children in sports now, and myself playing both ball and ice hockey, I hear firsthand how backlogged the team apparel industry is, with lead times upwards of 8-12 weeks! I saw an opportunity here to throw my hat in the ring.
Being able to design, print, press, cut and sew the jerseys all in house locally here in St. Catharines allows us to cut down lead times, and offer the highest quality and customization possible.
I can't wait to see where this journey takes me, and I look forward to working with you on your next order!
